The route leads to the ancient Maya site of Iximché, once the capital of the Kaqchikel kingdom. Here, a local cultural guide joins us to explain the history, symbolism, and ongoing spiritual importance of the ruins, adding real depth to the ride beyond just the kilometers. This tour is about balance: steady climbing, rewarding descents, cultural insight, and time on the bike without rushing.
