Before we set off, we’ll meet at our office in Tecpán to size your rental bike and adjust your equipment so everything fits comfortably and safely. Once ready, we roll out along quiet backroads and mostly flat terrain — ideal for beginners, casual riders, and families. As the town fades behind us, the scenery opens into pine-lined valleys and long rows of strawberries blanketing the hillsides. In recent years, strawberries have become the region’s most successful crop, grown by local families and exported internationally. Riding the Ruta de Fresas Tecpán gives you a front-row look at this agricultural heartland and the daily rhythms of highland life.

The tour finishes with a visit to a local family, where you can learn more about traditional strawberry farming. Depending on the season, participants may also have the chance to walk the fields and pick a small basket of strawberries to take home. This seasonal family option makes the experience especially fun for younger riders, and we happily welcome children as young as 12 on this tour.
