This is a long, rewarding gravel ride that highlights the diverse terrain around Tecpán. The Tecpán XC Grand Tour follows rolling highland gravel roads, punchy climbs, and fast, smooth descents, linking forest tracks, rural farm roads, and quiet backcountry connectors. The route passes through pine forests, open farmland, and exposed ridgelines with wide views across the Guatemalan highlands and surrounding volcanoes.

The terrain stays engaging throughout. Short, punchy climbs are mixed with longer steady efforts, making pacing and gear choice important without turning the ride into a grind.
