Top of the World is our most popular shuttle-supported cross-country ride out of Antigua—an intermediate tour that trades long climbing for maximum trail time and huge scenery. We’ll drive you up to around 2,500 m (8,000 ft) near the Acatenango trailhead, where you’ll roll into sweeping views of four volcanoes, then follow sandy singletrack and natural trails most of the way back down toward town (about 80% trail). Plan on 5–6 hours total with roughly 3 hours of riding, and an overall route that’s around 23 km with a manageable amount of pedaling mixed into a mostly downhill day.
